History
TWM Associates, Inc. (TWM) is currently a Woman-Owned,
Small Business, originally founded in 1991 as a small disadvantaged business. TWM is a System Engineering
firm that specializes in Cybersecurity, IT Audit, CMMC Support,
and Information Assurance.
TWM's initial efforts were to develop Cross-Domain solutions
and security capabilities within several operating systems.
The corporation evolved into developing Security Enterprise
Governance Frameworks and producing Security Assessment
and Authorization (SA&A) governance for the Department of Defense. Additionally, TWM worked with National Institute of Standards and Technology to establish SA&A governance
for the entire Federal Government.
TWM began working on compliance activities and has built a Compliance business that extends into the commercial and
regional firms; information technology audits within the
Offices of the Inspector General for several Federal agencies;
and other SA&A compliance activities.
Today, TWM efforts are based on our three core competences: Cybersecurity Engineering, IT Audit, (including FISMA support, SA&A, CMMC Support, IA-Pre Support, and Compliance), and Governance.
